Lauren Kain obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Psychology from King’s University College at the University of Western Ontario. She graduated with distinction after three years of study, and continued to pursue her education at Osgoode Hall Law School where she obtained her Juris Doctor. During her time at Osgoode, Lauren actively pursued her interest in Family Law and focused her studies on trial advocacy, negotiation, and alternative dispute resolution. Over the course of her law school career, Lauren made an effort to give back to the community by volunteering her time at the Family Law Information Centre. Lauren joined Kain & Ball as a summer student, and articled with the firm in 2011-2012. Lauren was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2012 and is thrilled to have returned to Kain & Ball as an associate. Lauren is currently a member of the OBA, CBA, and ABA. During her time at Kain & Ball Lauren has expanded her knowledge of family law through exposure to a wide variety of family law cases, with a particular interest in complex financial matters and the intersection of family law and business.
